I have 5 acres of land and I want to grow some grass for hay bales. A couple of people have suggested I plant Coastal, any ideas or thoughts? or am I just wasting my time?

Rancher2: I dunno maybe six, unless it's been miraculously raining on your place.

I was literally in tears when I overheard this early last month.

Tifton 85 is what you want to plant. You will want to sprig the grass and I would recommend Tanberg Grass Farm in Harlingen, (956) 428-2484.
