Any Aggie-owned establishments going to host a game-watching party in MFE?

I'll be at the game on Saturday and haven't heard of any place yet that is set up to have it here in the RGV.

I do know Time Warner and DirecTV (channel designations should be announced soon) will have it available and that the cost may be around $30.

I'll call a few places in McAllen this afternoon and report back with my findings.

I'd be surprised if Double Dave's on north 10th isn't showing it. Me and some buds in Harlingen are going to buy it and each pitch in to share the cost. $39.99 split 4 ways is a heck of a lot cheaper(and more comfortable at someone's house), than buying beers and food at a bar, given the 6 pm kick time.

The new Buffalo Wild Wings on North 10th in McAllen said they were going to show it. I asked her three times, "You're SURE? It is PPV...." and she said yes.

I should have asked to speak to a manager in hindsight. Might be a good idea for one of you guys to follow up on this just to get some secondary confirmation.

But hey, it's a start........

I'm new to the valley and really want to avoid dave south if at all possible.
