Anyone familiar with Immigration Laws?

How can a person who is in the US illegally, came here w/ her parents when she was 5 and is now 18, establish some sort of legal residency in the US? No, none of her family is here legally either.

I don't know much at all and I am surely not an immigration attorney. All I know is the trouble I have seen folks have. Her situation will not be easy or good. Likely any process will have to start, save for some kind of amnesty, with her leaving the country.

At this point in time her best bet is to keep her nose clean and stay under the radar. Also, have her start paying taxes if she is working. If she does this it does count for something. Even if it costs her money, I would recommend that she do this and save those returns. Same to her parents.

A few years back, some folks I knew used a lady to do house cleaning. They paid her cash and was not asked for a ss#. I guess that this is how.

Lots of folks work without a SSN. I woulld be 10 to 20 precent of the folks in the RGV are working for cash.

Illegals can purchase fake SSN and fake green cards easily. The quality is very good.
