Did you see that! In Sharyland we got 4.5" of rain, wind, quarter size hail, trees down and what a lightning show. My pool overflowed and got some water in the house. That hasn't happened here in 20+ years

I was in the 5-6 inches of hail swath. It was unbelievable wind driven hail. Broke 3 front windows and felt like the door was gonna go. Lasted at least 15 minutes. Just incredible. Lots of hail inside of the house.

Seems like the hail was mostly in Sharyland and west McAllen. We are just inside the Edinburg city limits going east from McAllen (off Alberta Road) and we got no hail but plenty of wind...howled just like it did in the last hurricane when it was blowing 90 MPH all night.

We only got 2.65 inches of rain. Sure was a lot of lightning playing around my big tower in the back yard!

Yeah we're just N of Nolana and just W of 6th. Right along there was the worst of the hail judging by how much is left this morning.

10 hours after it quit hailing.

Only 1 is missing or did that start out as a case? Seems the appropriate way to deal with that storm, nice choice for the beverage.

Since the big hail storm, I have had an opportunity to talk to several of my friends that live in the area hardest hit. They really got hit hard. I feel sorry for them. Several hare having to replace windows, carpet, walls, roofs, ceilings. This is going to cost them lots whether they have insurance (most do) or not.

My grandkids get picked up from Milam daily by a absolutely fantastic lady. They need the money she makes doing this. Her house had water through out the house, ruined their furniture, broken glass all over the place, roof destroyed. Jeez! I feel for them!
