I've never been able to fully wrap my head around how badly valley peeps butcher both languages...

example 1:

Why do they pronounce JOE correctly but eff up NOE? The say JO but say NO-EE. It makes no sense. They're spelled the same idiots!

example 2:

How is it possible to eff up CHICKEN by saying SHICKEN and eff up SHORT by saying CHORT? It's not complicated dummies, CH and SH are different sounds....

I swear one day they won't be able to speak at all....

Absolutely. By about 5 of my customers. All in the 40-50 age range.

Shame on them.
