THAT ARE FALSE!
Today, I said two and heard a third.
My sister-in-law told me over lunch that Charlie Clark was abducted by a drug cartel in Mexico sometime ago. Apparently, he had to come up with 40 trucks (which other Nissan dealers helped him out with) for them to let him go where he was found naked!
Anyways, I went to Charlie Clark Nissan today for power steering fluid and asked. It was just a rumor. I believe the guy because he looked like he was part of a cartel. They stick together.
Part II
I my bro-in-law told me the the Forester of McAllen told him that all the Palm Trees in the Valley were part of a beautification project after the great depression to make it look more tropical. I mean, I believed it. I have never seen any here in a "natural" environment.
Which brings me to Part III. So I am standing there with the A&M Extension Forester for South Texas and he said, "No, go look at the Sabal Palm Audubon Center and Sanctuary in Brownsville."
Dang
Then he says," It's ok, when they told me I was going to the Valley I was very excited because valleys are usually very beautiful, but when I got here I did not see any mountains. Then I realized this is a DELTA! They made the name up to encourage people to move down here too!"
We are actually the Rio Grande Valley Delta.
