Why are you such a hater? And why of all of the annoying ass car dealers down here (I'm looking at you, Charlie Clark) you decide you pick your beef with Bert and crew?

Bob Vackar owns the Bert Ogden dealerships and is an Ag. He and I drove to College Station together in 1962 for our fish year. (married well!)

I thought they belonged to Janet?

Well, since they are married, I suppose that the company belongs to both of them...that's why I said he married well. Actually the company has expanded many fold since Vackar/Janet started running the place. If you remember, when Janet's mom and Dad were killed in that car wreck, the company consisted of one store at 281 (business) and Trenton Rd.

My first years in the Car business were with Bert Ogden. Met Mr. Vacker 5 months in. When he found out I was an Aggie he moved me from sales to finance (met him on a saturday and was in finance on wednesday).

Unfortunately my boss wasn't very fond of me for some reason and apparently always bad mouthed me to Mr. vacker in the meetings. I really enjoyed working there and really appreciated what Mr. Vacker had done for me which is why it was really hard leaving. But working till midnight finally took its toll and I got offered a job out with the Payne dealership.

So if anyone here is ever looking for a new or pre owned car feel free to call/text me whether it be to buy or advise when buying. nine 56 seven 8 four zero 1
