McALLEN — Pop stars Justin Bieber and Selena Gomez stopped at Don Pepe's Mexican Restaurant on Friday morning, where they dropped $153.04 on breakfast.

Bieber and Gomez arrived with four bodyguards shortly after 11 a.m., said Manager Lori Johnson, 38, the restaurant owner's daughter.

The bill totaled $153.04.

Gomez is scheduled to perform 8 p.m. Saturday at the State Farm Arena, as part of the annual BorderFest celebration.
Bieber ordered huevos rancheros and Gomez ordered chilaquiles a la mexicana, Johnson said. They tipped $50 on top of the $14 included gratuity.

This is like being in Purgatory, between hearing stories from cloistered Valley-ites ji22ing all over themselves at the thought of someone "as famous as" the Beebs gracing us with his presence to the inane drivel about where the couple went and how much they spent on a f@kin' breakfast, which, by the way, at $153 and change, is complete bu!!****(how does anyone spend that much on a Tex-Mex breakfast ANYWHERE in the Balley). I picked up my grandaughter from school (7th grade) and she said that many of the girls already had plans for their moms to pick them up and take them to the mall.
