Personally I have not seen one person illegally cross and I work primarily on 281.

Have seen a lot of people dying on that road recently.

You clearly don't look around you or watch the local TV shows. On the way back from SA the other evening I was just south of the checkpoint and an old blue pickup pulled off the side of the road and about 10 - 15 illegals jumed out and ran into the brush. I assume that they were going to walk around the check point.

Yesterday the news reported over 100 illegals found in a stash house.

But you are right...nothing is going to be done.

I hunt south of the check point about 2 miles east of 281. We see groups of illegals move through there at least once or twice a month during deer season. Many of these groups will be 20 or 30 people and we have seen a few larger groups. This past year for the first time we started seeing small groups of children, mostly young kids up to teens. We assumed, and they may have just become separated from the larger groups, but now I'm not sure. But I too agree that things won't likely change. Although the groups may be larger now, we have been seeing this for 15 years.
