Authorities have taken two boys dubbed "Big Screen TV bandits" and their mother into custody following a heist at a Walmart in Edinburg.
Edinburg police confirm that the boys and their mother were arrested on aggravated robbery charges on Monday.
Surveillance cameras captured images of two male suspects walking into the store on Saturday.
The two loaded a big screen TV into a shopping cart and left the store without paying for it.
A loss prevention officer confronted the two suspects but the taller one pulled up his shirt revealing a handgun.
Edinburg police released the surveillance images in hopes of identifying the suspects.
Investigators received a tip shortly after their images were featured on the Action 4 News Facebook page and mobile phone app.
The woman and her 15-year-old and 10-year-old sons were all charged with aggravated robbery.
Police recovered the weapon used in the crime and learned it was a BB gun.
Investigators said the woman drove her sons to and from the store.
The boys remain in custody of the juvenile justice system while their mother is expected to be arraigned on Tuesday afternoon.
