For it or against it? FERC hearing is coming up and so far it looks like more support is coming out against it. I'd like to hear reasons why it should or should not be approved. TIA

But why? Other than changing the skyline at the port and increasing tanker traffic through Brazos Santiago Pass, what are the fact-based reasons to decline the development? I'm not looking for emotional feelings for why one is against it but arguments based on fact. I know the naturalist community is completely against it but I haven't seen a solid argument for why it should be declined (coming from a group of people that has always been anti-growth on the Island and who seem to be rather hypocritical in remaining silent when it comes to wind turbine developments, knowing how detrimental they are to birds).
