After the Baylor game I have to rush to Tyler for a wedding. Can someone recommend the quickest route plus travel time to me?

I used to take a couple different routes depending on where in the Tyler area I wanted to be. I would take 21 to Crocket, 69 to Rusk, then 110 to Troup to get to the Troup/Arp/Whitehouse area. Depending on how fast you drive and the traffic it should only take about 3 hours, maybe 3:15. I also used to take I45 to Buffalo then 79 to Palestine and 155 to South Tyler this route always felt slower, but it took about 3:15. There may be fast ways to get to different parts of Tyler, but thats what I got.

2:17 was my record.

21 to North Zulch.

From there to Buffalo.

To Palestine.

155 in to Tyler.

This was the route used by all Tyler Ags in my day.

You can also stay on 69 in Rusk through Jacksonville all the way to Tyler

I agree with BQ89AG's route. It should not take any longer than 2:15-2:30 from BCS to Tyler. My parents live about 40 miles north of Tyler, and it used to take me about 3-3:15 hours.

I'm not to familiar with the drive so I just want to get some clarification.

From CS I take 21 to North Zulch.
Then how do I get from North Zulch to Buffalo, and how do I get from Buffalo to Palestine?

Is this correct?
CS ----> thru North Zulch and Madisonville via 21
Then I-45 N to Buffalo
Then 75 N to Palestine
Then I get on 155 N in Palestine and take it to Tyler?

Once in North Zulch, take a left on 39, this takes you to 79 at Jewett, Buffalo is 10 miles north on 79. I'm sure this is what the previous poster meant, it's faster than going all the way to Madisonville.

From CS, take 21 to North Zulch
From North Zulch, take 39 to Jewett
From Jewett, take 79 to Palestine
From Palestine, take 155 to Tyler.

(be sure to use the loop in Palestine, it's quicker)

2:15-2:30 is approximate travel time

My parents live in Kilgore but they go to church in Tyler. Whenever I'm up there visiting, I always leave from Tyler to come back to C.S. I use the route that Yossarian mapped out. I've found that is the fastest. Takes me about 2 1/2 hours to make the drive.

Just watch your speed in Normangee, i think you have to slow down 23 mph at the intersection there.
