Anybody on here from Tatum, seriously doubt it. Other than that any people out there that played me in football back in '96-'99? Preferably Daingerfield. Man those were some good games.

Daingerfield Class of '97. Aggie Class of '01. And yes, I played both games against Tatum in '96. Wish I could forget the last one. It was the last that I ever played.

Yeah, that game in Nach was just two great teams going at it. There were so many strategies in that game from both sides it's amazing anyone scored. Who was the stud linebacker you guys had? Bubba something? That dude was a haas.

Joe Bob Thompson, good friend of mine. He went on to play for Rice. A few other guys went on to play at junior colleges or small schools. I went on to drink alot of beer at A&M. That game was a dog fight. I was the left offensive tackle. I still haven't watched the game on film. If I remember corrently, ya'll made it to state, but Sealy won? Sealy was a powerhouse back in those days. Ya'll had a great team too. We won early in the season, but ya'll knocked us out when it counted.

Yeah you guys played us earlier that year in the non-district game. We started out 0-4 that year losing to you guys and three other teams. Atfer we won that game we did go onto the Championship game against Sealy. I like to say we were Sealy's second victim in their 3 in a row. Easily whomever won that game at SFA was on their way to play Sealy. Joe Bob, that was his name. I couldn't remember it to save my life. I remember watching him at Rice and seeing him do the same things there he did in high school.

What was the name of your coach? I believe he got "Coach of the Year" in '96. Our coach got canned after the '97 season. The high school's phone bills began showing calls to 1-800 sex hotlines. Turns out, he was busted calling from the bus barn late at night. What a perv...

His name was John Crawford. He stayed at Tatum through the 2000 season then moved onto Burleson. He deserved the Coach of The Year award. He actually proved that in 2001 at Burleson. They had won something like 2 games in 3 years and his first year there he took them to 7-3 and second place in district. That was the same district with Stephenville and Brownwood I believe. The next year he won district with that same team. I never knew that about y'alls coach. Yeah definitely a perv.

Yeah, the school board kept in on the down low. Most people still don't know. The new coach took D'field to state in '98, but they were beaten by Childress, I believe. We were in small 3A finals that year.

Not from Tatum but know your head football coach really well. He was my dad's DC for a couple years. Really good guy

Good luck tonight against Canton. Should be a good game. Hopefully they'll win. I watched Tatum's game last week against Dallas Madison at Texas Stadium. The Consol game before it was good too.
