Chris Johnson...As far as I know, he's the 1st recent PT alum in the NFL and the 1st from Longview since Bobby Taylor.

Random tidbits about this guy... I recall being in Jr. High with one of my friends and his dad as we went to this guys house to get my friends' bike back that this guy had stolen earlier that day.

Also, as a senior at PT, he couldn't wash his clothes in athletics with the rest of us since he caught a case of Scabies (sp?)

I had to guard Bobby Taylor once in high school. That was fun. I literally watched his crotch fly over me as he dunked it on my head at Lobo Coliseum.

Bobby Taylor and Co. put 90+ points on us in the seventh grade when we played them. He was doing 360 dunks and most of us didn't even have hair on our balls yet.

I remember watching that Lview team that won state in 92 or 93... Bobby Taylor one or two of the Hawkins, and some other guy who played D1.

Bobby Taylor could have very easily played D1 hoop at Notre Dame if Lou Holtz would have let him.

Did he play at Gladewater or PT? Site says he's from GW.

Our secondary his senior year was also the 400M relay state champs. He went to play ball at Blinn then Lousiville. Another went to the Navy, another ran track at SFA and was an alternate on the US world championships team, and another didn't graduate and cost himself a full-ride to his choice of FSU, UF, Miami, UT, A&M, Nebraska, etc...

The guy's whose bike he stole was TF, your old neighbor. His dad about pistol whipped Chris Johnson afterwards. Funny stuff.
