No liquor stores in our hospital parking lots in Texarkana

Longview is just very efficient. Knowing that the alcoholics and homeless that wander Hwy 80 will eventually end up in Good Shepherd ER it just made sense to have the liquor store next door so they wouldn't have far to walk.

Plus, it saves the hospital money in not having to run ambulances to pick up their dead, discarded bodies once they pass away.

A couple of weeks ago, the wife and I stopped for gas just down from the hospital/liquor store. As I'm pumping gas, I hear brakes and screeching tires on pavement... this truck sitting at the light was rear ended by another truck... then the truck bounced into him again...

once the light turned green, the truck that did the damage took off-

turns out it was stolen. great post-thanksgiving entertainment.

Nash, Texas here, but I certainly claim Texarkana. Just moved here in March...hard to find Aggies in these parts!

Guy's Orange stand is a great landmark. Same greasy food for 60 years. Get the big orange drink and dump the cup of peanuts in it for the full experience.

I'd love to get together with a bunch of Ags. Apparently there was a monthly "get together" at Fat Jacks a while back. My wife and I went a couple of times, but there were not any Ags there.
