the ticket is in the console of my wife's vehicle. I'll have to get it and look.

I tried to get the fine reduced, but the receptionist in their office gave me 21 reasons why hell would have to freeze over before that happened. She was nice about it- but it still sucked.

That was the one person I couldn't help you out with. My aunt and cousin both work for the J.P. and they couldn't get me out of a seatbelt ticket. That was deemed the only unexceptable pardon.

Sorry, those seatbelt tickets are $$$$. I at least got to clean their office to pay mine off.

I'd rather drive to Paris and clean the office than pay the $140 cashiers check of a fine. Sonsa*****es.

oh well. I broke the law because I wasn't wearing the seatbelt according to the manufacturers specifications.

I had a dream where there were no specifications listed in the car's manual and I used that to successfully fight the ticket.
That would have been nice.

If you are serious, I would almost guarantee they would let you. I don't know if it would be worth the time and money to drive from Dekalb though.
