Football: He's thrilled with our secondary. Still thinks that it wont be a drastic improvement over last yr but should be better. Says most of the Fran haters have gotten out of the program. Still has no opinion on D coord. Thinks Tech is a key win. The team is more a team now that has been since late 90's. McGee has amazing leadership abilities as per Ngyuen, Bucky.

Baseball: We're terrible. Should have a quick turnaround, though. Doesnt understand what kind of players the previous coach was recruiting. Will have to make do with what we got. Solid pitching.

Basketball: Alot of positives. Kavlaus---(sp?) is going to be a stud this yr. Billy got a txt msg during the lunch telling us about James. Bad news. Said we rolled out the red carpet and more to get him. You'll see on his next newsletter. We should have Big 12 title contention this yr with our recruits.

I told him to tell staff to cut me some slack.
