Is it true that the new Tyler loop is going to be a toll road? I heard that rumor and I'm not sure if I'm ready to believe it. Just curious.
Rumor is true. The signs are up and they are assembling the sensors.
That's so incredibly lame. 
Tyler does need a better loop though, It's rediculous getting around that city to I20 when you come in on 69.

I took the loop a few times this weekend. Its sweet. Pretty close to my house.
wow, I hate to see this growing trend of toll roads in Texas. I moved back from Florida last year (orlando area) and almost every major freeway down there is a toll road. It would cost me almost 10 dollars a day just to drive to work and back.
did you know that there aren't going to be toll booths? if you don't have a toll tag, they will just send you a bill...

TxDOT will send you the bill. City of Tyler has nada to do with it.

is the toll road up yet? as in are they already charging for it?
yes they stopped letting you drive it for free in november.
