Went to padre today and drove about 10 miles down the national seashore. It is amazing the amount of erosion that occurred and the amount of trash now there. Scavengers were driving up and down the beach loading up their trucks with lumber, chairs, furniture...

When I was leaving, a guy from Sea Tow was there putting some plywood on the hatch. I guess they were getting it back to the owner.

It'll be interesting to see just how long stuff continues to wash up. Good chance things wash up for years to come. I remember about 5 or so years ago, a piece of Space Shuttle Challenger washed up in Florida.
