I took the kiddos to Galvatraz (Shlitterbahn) on Sunday and noticed something that I've never seen before. We go to Galveston now & then and have never seen a police presence on the Seawall Blvd. I figured the police were taking a "hands off the tourists" approach due to the $$$ tourists pump into the local economy.

On Sunday there were two motorcycle cops and a car working the Seawall pretty hard. I saw several people pulled over within a mile stretch.

Yeah, they hang out on Seawall looking to ticket people from out of town for expired stickers. They've been doing this for awhile now though.

What a scummy thing for them to do (seriously).

If they'd concentrate on cleaning up the cesspool that they call a local population and quit harassing the people that bring money to the town, they'd see an INFLUX of even MORE money.

Barstool - please work for GPD for a week and let me know about your new-found respect for what they do.
