I wanted to ask for Texags help on information regarding Beaumont area public schools for kids ages 5-10.

Has there been a discussion or topic on this in the past? I have tried to search through Texags, but cannot find anything.

If no prior thread, please let me know your thoughts. Basically just looking for good schools with parent involvement and ability to get into Texas A&M upon graduation.

Kelly is about your only option and its a private school. BISD is nearly as corrupt as Pt. Arthurs and going downhill fast. If I had kids that were school age nowadays, Beaumont or Pt. Arthur is not where they`d be going. Both mid county schools; Nederland & Port Neches are very good, well run districts. Hamshire Fannett and Bridge City are good school districts. Lumberton is severely over crowded. Any of the above schools, a kid can get into A&M. Mine did !
