Howdy Ags!

I am relocating to the area and well, had a general idea of the place, but I am in deep need to find a place rent or buy.

I could do with an apartment but from the looks of it there isnt much around thats worth while, I may be wrong though...

Any recommendations??

Thanks & Gig Em!

With interest rates as low as they are you should buy a house in victoria if you are going to be there for 3+ years. It is basically impossible to find something to rent, seriously. We found 1 house available to rent and they wanted so much in rent and deposits I came out ahead by buying. Good luck. Call that realtor I recommended to you!

Grew up in Victoria. My $0.02... Avoid Port Lavaca. If you decide on Victoria or Sea Drift send me an email (in my profile). My FIL has been a realtor in Victoria for 30+ yrs. he can help you find a house for sale or rent in the greater Victoria area (including Sea Drift).

I'd rather live in Seadrift than Victoria. Probably in Swan Point neighborhood.
