Do you mean N. Padre or South Padre?

If you stay in Port A, there are plenty of places to eat, and go out at night. Decent beaches, and Newport Dunes is right there which is great golf.

I live in PA and can tell you where to do all of that. Cant speak for the other places but you will have a good time in PA

For beaches, unless you are wanting to fish or be off by yourself, the beach closest to wear you are staying is pry best. Around Port A, either by the south jetty or I like going to Fish Pass. Take the access road just north of the state park, by the riding stables, and go south at the beach until you hit the fish pass jetty. It is usually less crowded with just surfers or fishermen. If you want a beach without cars, either the state park or there is one by the visitor center at the national seashore.
