Anyone know of any Galveston beach houses available for this 3-day weekend? We have hotel reservations in town but are thinking about maybe changing plans. There are will be 8 of us (6 adults and 2 children). We don't necessarily need fancy, just something nice and clean close to the beach. Thanks!

ttt, I am looking for a rental as well for the wife, me, and our little boy. I'd like to do a week or so in September. Any other websites or people know of places? Most of the stuff I see on Vacation Rental are condos, and I'd prefer a little beach house.

have rented multiple times from sandnsea.com and always been satisfied. their site is pretty user friendly and has a good search feature to narrow down what you're looking for.

Thank you all for the recommendations. We wound up staying at Pointe West. Found a great real estate agent who was very helpful (Donna Breedlove). I will definitely go through her again next time. We stayed at the Whale of a View condo. Check her out: http://beachballsandbuckets.com
