I will be moving to Corpus Christi in the next 3 to 6 months for work. I would really like to get on a deer lease down that way. We have family land that I currently hunt in madisonville but would like something a little closer for when I move. I would be looking for about 2 to 4 spots. This would be for me, my dad and a couple trusted work partners. I would be willing to pay $1k to $2k per spot. Any leads would be greatly appreciated.

I have never lived down that way so don't have much knowledge or contacts for that area.

I can be contacted at b dot ballard dot 3006 at gmail

Thanks and gig 'em.

Been looking (not hard) for a few years now. If I hear of anything I'll let you know. Likewise if you find one and need 1 more person let me know.

I don't have any leads but the deer are very nice down here. Freer-Tilden area is great.

Good luck!

Call the Chambers of Commerce in these small towns...they might have some leads for you. Also, check with some of the feed store managers...they know a lot of the ranch folks. Also, check with the deer contest folks. The Muy Grande in Freer is a good one to check with for places closer to Corpus.

Bump on this...we have a bay house in the Cape Caranchua subdivision between Palacios and Port Lavaca. We've been looking to get on a lease anywhere within abt 20 miles of our house. Anyone have any ideas?
