Son (28 y.o., single) is going to the Corpus area to work for a year on a project. We'd appreciate any recommendations for nice, newer apartments in the area! Thanks, Ags!

Downtown , Id recommend bay vista. A lot of young professionals there.
Otherwise south side there's a nice one on holly and airline. Don't know the name.

Depending on when he gets there, the Cosmopolitan will be opening mid summer I think. They look nice and located downtown. Agree with Bay Vista also. Many young professionals and close to downtown. I would say no to Southside solely on traffic... plus he's young and single.

Tell him to check out the A&M club, lots of members who are younger.

For what the trendy downtown apartments will cost, he might also check out some townhomes in the Calallen area.

There appear to be some new, upscale apartments going up on Saratoga between Rodd Field and Airline, too. And some fairly new ones on the southwest corner of the Airline/Saratoga intersection as well.

Apartment complex off holly/airline nextdoor to the athletic club are all brand new or fairly new. You'll know which ones when you see them because there are old ones behind it on the tennis courts.

My neighbor is teaching a study abroad in Europe for most of the summer and looking for a responsible person to house sit. They have a back studio to stay in and just would like the simple things covered, mostly watering plants. Its a free place and he could learn the area then find a more permanent spot.
