We drove up on it before they officially opened (by coincidence). People were parked on side of road waiting to get to go over it rather than just going on about their day over the old bridge. More power to them.
We get to drive over it Monday morning though - headed to CRP for flight.
Aggie_Boomin21, Howdy. You sir are correct! I think the really great thought that went into having the gentle grades was the key to me enjoying going across, not to mention the width of the new bridge, Hats Off to the Civil Engineers!!!
Howdy, I am en engineer, not Civil, Petroleum (not that Petroleum Engineers cannot be Civil, LOL), so I am totally intrigued by how you tear some as big as the old bridge down. Hate highest, cannot imagine being up that high tearing down, or building for that matter, like the New one. SCARY!!!
