According to Houston tv report.

And, yes, I know I butchered the spelling but am too lazy this morning to go Google it. [/only 2 cups of coffee so far]

I drove by to check it out last weekend. Didn't learn much other than it's not done yet and it's not as big as i was expecting. There were not many people there for being such a nice day on a holiday weekend. It looks like they are going to fit alot of stuff in a pretty small space, i'll wait till it's all done before i go

Drove by on Sunday and the place was absolutely packed.

It looked alright, more like an average waterpark with some slides, lazy river, etc, etc.

The "indoor" portion looks shotty to me...almost like it was an afterthought.

Overall, I'd think it'd be ok, but it's overpriced I believe. It might be better when they finish it and open up some new rides though. $32 for an adult and $27 for a kid seems kind of expensive for what you get right now.

Then again, the place was packed when I saw it.

$32? That is what we just paid in New Braunfels, seems pricey for this tiny imitation in Galveston.

Not at all like the real thing. More like Splashtown.

We went there Friday. I liked it more than the original. We were able to do all the rides as many times as we wanted and everything is in one place. The river ride isn't cold and has waves.

I'm not a water park fan, just a dad with a four year old who is. Thank goodness Gaido's hasn't changed, ever.
