Living in the apartment we always left town, but now that we're home owners we're wondering if we should stay to keep an eye on things.

So do you stay or leave?

I would probably stay as your place has a good chance of being broken into, robbed, and/or burned to the ground.

The city needs to sack up and tell that crap to go else where.

The kappa weekend has show signs of getting smaller over the past few yeas--still effectively shuts the town for other tourists and still trashes the place up pretty good but I don't think your house is at risk--of course your yard might be--seems peopls have no problem driving through yards, on sidewalks, etc to get around the traffic.

Also depends where the house is--

Since you've normally left, just leave again.

Chances are low anything will happen plus if it does you always have insurance.

You're right, they can't stop it, but they have done things to discourage it. For instance nearly every business in town closes down. I'm talking all the restraunts and even Walmart closes. Also every single side street in town is baracaded off. There are only a handful of the larger roads that are open, so people sit in traffic literally all day long just trying to get from one side of town to another.

i know that but they still come. it doesnt make any since to me. you can only drive in a circle. and it takes forever. but hey what floats your boat i guess

Doesn't look like it was your town this weekend. Hope everybody had fun.

Went to my brothers beach house this past weekend and here is a conversation between a Kappa that was in front of me and the cashier at the store

Kappa: How much for one match?
Cashier: Huh?
Kappa: How much for one mf match?
Cashier: Ummmm uhhhhh one match? eleven cents.
Kappa: ssssshhhhhhheeeet that's too much.
Cashier: huh?

Mr Kappa grabs a lighter that was for sale on the countertop, lights his cigarette and puts the lighter back on the countertop.

I actually would of expected him to just walk of the store with it...
