My husband, Gene Lutz, class of '98, is a CPT in the Army and Commander of HHD, 709th MP Battalion. (We are origianlly from Corpus Christi.) He and his Soldiers in the BN are deployed to Iraq for a year long mission. They will hopefully be returning this fall, but I need your help in making this homecoming a success. Our Battalion's home is in Hanau, Germany. As you can guess, getting donations over here is pretty much nonexistant. We are not allowed to solicit from the German businesses and the language barrier doesn't help much either! I am trying to help set up my husband's Soldiers for as warm a homecoming as we can possibly give them here in Germany. So, I am reaching out to all of you, my husband's Aggie family, for donations. Whether it is monetary or items like bath towels, sheet sets, personal hygiene, or anything else you can think of (these Soldiers come home to an empty barracks room with nothing but a bed and a mattress!).
