My parents are looking for a bay/beach house and they are looking really hard at the Rockport area. What are the best neighborhoods or areas and what can they expect to pay for a nice 3 or 4 bed, 2 or 3 bath home with views of the water?

Key Alegro is really going to be your only bet at a nice area with waterfront views. It's also going to be expensive. There's only one way on/off of it as well.

You could also try Aransas Pass.

I can be of assistance as well. The company I am affiliated with builds & remodels homes in the Rockport / Aransas Pass area. So, I am pretty in tune to what is going on in the area. One of the biggest selling points about Rockport is that it is very well known for its salt water fishing & hunting. For being a town of +/- 6,500, there are a lot of people that know where it is due to a past vacation. Let me know if I can be of any other help.
