Now that the weather is getting nicer, my wife (when she is off during the week) likes to bring the boys to a park to play every once in a while. What are some good, safe ones in Waco? She had been bringing them some to one off MLK right next to the river. It's a nice park, but I'm not sure I'm comfortable with it the couple of times I've been with them. Any suggestions?

zoo X 2....

Cameron park doesn't stay very clean (sadly) though there are area's around the Lake down towards Woodways end that are ok

When I say park, I just mean a neighborhood park with a playground and some picnic tables. Not talking about a large deal necessarily. I think they ended up going to one in Woodway today. She said it wasn't too bad.

for playgrounds...Whitehall is in WW over by Providence so probably the one they went to. Poage is in West WW right off Hwy 84 going toward McGregor. Hewitt Park is on Hewitt Drive and Warren Park is off Spring Valley Rd also in Hewitt.

Whitehall, Poage and Hewitt will have the closest people around so the safest if help is needed. All three have decent bathrooms but the closest bathroom to the playground is Poage...all three have tracks for walking/running

You can let me know when she is bringing the boys and I could come visit and bring snacks!!!!

Yeah Whitehall is the one they went too. Only thing she said she didn't like was sand on the playground rather than the ground up tires they have a lot of places now.

Whitehall used to have pea gravel...Poage had sand but it was the brush off kind

Indeed, Mountainview is a nice park but kind of hard to find the official entrance!

Buy an annual pass and take them to the lake. Airport Beach and Twin Bridges. No one there during the week. Flood waters a problem right now though.

We take our three kiddoes to Poage all the time. They love it. Whitehall is okay and I think Viking Hills has a playground at their park too. The missus is in charge of park selection. I'm just the chauffer.

Cameron Park is such an awesome park. It is a shame you just sometimes don't feel safe there.
