Mother nature is playing games with us! After a beautiful and warm end to the weekend, the cold air will be back on Monday with morning temperatures in the 30s and highs barely getting to 50 degrees. A gusty north wind will make it feel even colder.

All eyes are on our winter storm that will be moving through on Tuesday. Looks like the precipitation may start off as rain early in the morning but change quickly to all snow by the afternoon. Snowfall totals could exceed 4 inches in places with isolated amounts higher than that. This will impact travel Tuesday night into Wednesday morning. With the snow on the ground Wednesday, it will stay cold with highs only in the 30s.

Nah Jan...it'll happen. Day after our bad weather make-up day. Ironic. Otherwise though, hell would have to freeze over before Robin would cancel school.

I hope it gets canceled.

i'm a 230 day employee so i don't get off for any inservice or bad weather days.

Our bad weather days are in late spring. But I would doubt that we will even have snow. How many times has the snow either not happened or stopped just to our north this year. I agree with Jan completely.

State of Texas is correct. We are actually out today (as opposed to last Monday....President's Day) for a bad weather day.

Wonder if this post is going to get any attention today? about an inch deep and rising at my house right now.

At 745 daughter and I left the house(of course her battery had to die)to take her to work in Waco...HUGE FAT 1" flakes blowing like crazy into our yard and all over the place

Driving from Hewitt into Waco on Old Temple Rd and Bagby...Bagby was getting white quickly and by the time I dropped her off and came the same way back home.............mainly drizzle and a few wimpy flakes, nothing spectacular like it started out...temp is 34

The entire power grid went out at the HS for Belton today. That was pretty darn ridiculous from a network and phone point of view.

And I have been in and out my truck so much going to the different campuses that the snow has melted through and soaked me to the core.

I'm about to say eff this and go play with the kids in the football field.

Oh Jaaaannnn, I would like you to get me some sliced cheddar cheese and a can or two of tomato soup please...seeing as how you are living in the sunshine and I have snow STILL COMING DOWN. I really feel like a nice warm grilled cheese sandwich and a hot mug of tomato soup to warm my old bones so feel free to slip on your flip flops and head on over...I will make you a cool glass of iced tea when you get here but I am sure you won't be too warm.

we're out at 1:30 and then i'm home to play w/ the boy in optimist park. should be pretty piled up by now.

I'd LOVE to get outta here and go home to play in the snow with the little ones, but when the big bosses say the road is clear, then there's no questioning...........
