I'm driving from B/CS to DFW tomorrow and meeting a friend who is temporarily in Waco for lunch. Neither of us know Waco that well. I'll becoming in on 6 and would usually take 340 north to 35. He's near 84 in the range of 28th. Any suggestions on a decent place for us to meet? He doesn't mind driving a bit but I can't really remember what there is in the general area of 340/35. It doesn't have to be right at that intersection, but I won't have time to go too far out of the way. Thanks in advance for any suggestions.

Heitmiller's in Elm Mott isn't that far from there. That place is always good.

In that exact interchange spot of 35 and Loop 340 you have the new Chuy's, Panera Bread, Bush's Chicken, Carlos Mexican, Camille's Sidewalk Cafe, Panda Express and Stonecold/Coldstone Creamery IceCream

A half mile N on 35 there is IHOP.

two miles west(340@84) is Whataburger, Olive Garden and Red Lobster...in the mall Wendy's, Chick Fil A and Auntie Anne's Pretzels...think there is a Pizza place as well but not positive

For him any place along 35 is easy to get to and you can stay on 6 and take the LaSalle Ave/Baylor exit to your left then take University Parks Drive to 35...at this intersection IHOP, Arby's Taco Bueno, Jack in the Box, McDonald's, Taco Bell, Whataburger, LJS, Taco Cabana, Wendy's.....across the river at this 35/UPDrive is Buzzard Billy's

Decide what food you want and I can give you easiest directions to get there.

you could go to Health Camp at I35 and Valley Mills on the circle or Rudy's is there too. George's is a little further down I35 at about 18th Street, and Buzzard Billy's is off I35 and Martin Luther King Blvd.

I think he's talking about 340 in Bellmead....would make the most sense if he is going from B/CS to DFW.

Bohunk is right - I meant 340 on the north side of town. We'd rather stay in the 77/84/35 area and north. Thanks for the suggestions. This should get us covered.
