Unfortunately I come to you for help. My parent's house in Hico, TX burned down over the weekend and they lost everything. They have found a small place to stay in the meantime, but this place does not have a refrigerator.

I was hoping someone may have an old one that they would be willing to sell me. I will be driving from Houston to Hico (through Waco) on Friday afternoon and could stop by and get it.

I don't have one, but so sorry to hear about your parents' house. Did you check the Classified board? There may be someone along the way on your drive that has one.

Oh...do they need a 27" TV by any chance? I have one that I'm getting rid of. I was planning on just putting a sign up in my apartment complex telling whoever that if they can carry it down the stairs, they can have it.

Only problem is, I live in SW austin.

There's nothing wrong with the TV. It's a little old. I just upgraded to a flat panel for my bedroom.

Thanks for the info, I had one about a month ago in my garage and actually gave it to someone on the Classifieds board who wanted one. Bad timing I guess.

Thanks for the offer but my sister actually gave them hers because she wanted to buy a new set anyway and this gave her a reason. I really appreciate the offer though.
