BohunkAg- I can't tell you how many times I've ridden through Groesbeck in the car with my dad telling us how much he'd like to buy some acreage and move there. One of my major fears as a kid was that he'd actually do it. A bigger fear of course was that he'd buy something in Kosse or Personville. Because, my dad wanted to live someplace where he didn't have to work and could live off his savings. And of course as a high schooler, there would have been absolutely nothing for me to do there (from my perspective).
In this case, I'm not trying to make fun of Groesbeck. I just find it absolutely hilarious that here we are 25 years in the future from when moving to Groesbeck was a real possibility for me and we're discussing the penetration of technology and high-speed connectivity to this Internet thing to remote places like Groesbeck. I suspect they probably still don't have it in Kosse or Personville

I've given up on trying to dissuade anyone from living/working in Waco. In fact, I actually spent two nights in Waco last month. Visited a few HS friends houses. They've got it pretty good. I got my update on Midway vs. Lorena vs. Waco. Ate at the new Chuy's. Ate at some fantastic greasy spoon burger joint across from the DPS offices out by TSTI (I know it's TSTC now). In fact, my only regret is that I didn't buy this kikarse orange 1973 Ford Ranchero that I saw on N. 19th.
