A friend is getting married in Waco and we are all trying to stay together on Friday night someplace fun and near downtown! We are willing to not stay in the downtown area as long as the place we are staying is super cool. =)

There will be about 10 girls.

Apparently the Livingston is already booked for the date we need and The Hilton has NO SUITES at that hotel.

Waco people do you have any suggestions for us?!

Marriott Courtyard is downtown...there is a hotel right off I-35 and easy to get to and from and their indoor pool/garden area is nice

would you consider renting out a B&B?

Any suggestions?

And my friend is pretty upset with the Livingston because she's been in contact with them for over a month and she went to pay for it a few days ago and they said they had no availability!!

Thank you.

Cotton Palace on Austin Avenue and Colcord House on Colcord Avenue

The hotel I mentioned with the nice indoor area is the Clarion Inn

isn't there a Residence Inn on University Parks there? I've always had good luck with them, even though they are a little more pricey than say, a Hampton.

If you dont mind being just outside of Waco proper, there is a Sleep Inn and Suites (looks new) at the Sun valley Boulevard exit in Hewitt. Maybe a ten minute drive or so into downtown Waco. Or, there is a Quality Inn and Suites at the New Road exit, closer than Hewitt. (Exit 331 off I-35)

There is also a Comfort Suites on the circle in Waco. http://www.wacocomfortsuites.com/

http://www.marriott.com/hotels/travel/wcori-residence-inn-waco/ is for the Residence Inn you asked about in Waco

there are several hotels on Hwy-84 just past the mall...Holiday Inn Express, Extended Stay Suites, Hampton(I think)

Back over by Baylor there is a LaQuinta and they have two suites

I personally vote for Hampton Inns cause their beds are comfy!

I'm not sure I would come out to Hewitt right now, they are working on I-35 and the exit moves about once a week....hard to find the place if you aren't familiar where the exit is right then. Coming in this direction though there are two hotels, one next to the new IHoP and the other right across I-35.
