Hey, I know what it's like to have a daughter with car problems 100 miles away!!!
One December her car was loaded to come home and then wouldn't start! She tried several times and the key did nothing but unlock the steering wheel. Her dad took off work, we rented a trailer and drove to A&M to load her car and the blasted thing started! We had lunch and headed out and the brake on a rear wheel of the rented trailer locked! Talk about a pain in the rear.
Another time her car(different one) was in the parking garage and wouldn't start. She had left the interior light on and inside the garage couldn't tell. Of course we discovered that AFTER we replaced the battery.
Another time she was in FHK and loaded her Ford Ranger for the weekend trip home and it wouldn't start. It was sitting in 30 minute parking by D-G and got a ticket. She called back that it was coming a flood. Her dad decided he wanted to check the car that night so we and her siblings drove to A&M and the bed of her truck was completely filled with rain water, yes her bed liner really did line the bed!!! Of course it was too dark to see anything so we were going to push the truck...not with a gozillion gallons of rain water in it........................on and on through two other students and their vehicles.
