Well, that's not broad or anything. Can you narrow your criteria just a little? What sort of activity are you looking for?

A place quiet and relaxing, where i can enjoy the outdoors

still pretty broad. Do you want to camp? Get drunk? Hunt? Fish? Read a book?

State and national parks are usually good outdoors places.

Big bend, Guadalupe mountains np, south llano river sp in junction, Martin Dies SP, enchanted rock, Garner, bastrop..... They're all good.

Or, rent a beach cabin at crystal beach. Check swedes real estate and cobb real estate.

Fredericksburg is nice

Captain, not sure any of the rental cabins on Crystal Beach are still there? Ike or Gustav wreaked havoc on the beach.

Martin Dies SP...my old stomping ground, is wonderful around Thanksgiving. Bastrop SP is wonderful right now. Fredericksburg, Enchanted Rock, Lady Bird or LBJ SP is wonderful, super wonderful at Thanksgiving when everyone in town has their fire places and smoke houses going...cool/cold crisp air with the aroma of a wood fire....you can't beat that atmosphere.

Ike wiped the place out, but they've rebuilt alot. There's rentals available.

Indeed those east Texas parks are nice in November. Dies, Rayburn country, etc. Beautiful places.

If in Central Texas area, then Salado is a nice place to visit if it is you and your wife.
