we went and ate at CFA on north side friday night with friends. place was filled with maroon and i liked it.

did not like what their kids did to temple but it was awesome to see the entire place marooned out.

Funny you mentioned that, I passed by that place today and commented to a family member that we need to try that place! I have been to Wise Guys, another Chicago style eatery, in Heights for lunch, and it is VERY good. Have not been to Old Chicago yet.

Does Old Chicago have big TV's for sports watching? Is it non-smoking?

Oh. Chick-Fil-A

OK, went to mikes for the first time. Food was pretty good. Wings were excellent. Pizza was good, and everything was reasonably priced.

But seriously. Best place to watch a game? They have a 25" tube TV in the corner.

Good place for lunch, but gotta respectfully disagree on game watching.

Boston's Gourmet Pizza, on the southside of 190 in Killeen has a bar that has a really tall ceiling. The seating is very open and there are some really large HD plasmas there.

The pizza is ok. And the draft beer selection is not large. But has all the domestics.

I watched several World Cup matches there this year. It is my favorite in the area. Even better than BJ's in Temple.
