I will be getting married in Waco and my parents are in charge of putting together the rehearsal dinner for our wedding. My fiance is from Waco and has suggested a few places to look into but I was wondering if anyone has any good recommendations.

Any ideas are appreciated. Thanks!

what are your food preferences? how involved does your family want to be...rent a place, decorate, cater a meal, entertainment......just a meal?

Phoenix in downtown is nice for that kind of stuff.

No food preference. My family just wants to rent a place that with not much decorating involved. My family lives quite a distance away from Waco so they will not have much time to take care of those things. As far as people go, it would be close to 60. Thank you!

Okay, for 60...LaFiesta on Franklin Ave has a party room...actually across the street and you would have location and food with one major decision to go with them.

Ninfas is downtown
Elite Cafe on the Circle HOWEVER, their food is hit and miss...very good or very bad
Graziano's is downtown and very nice, large enough but maybe not able to separate your group completely. We know a family who does catering and I can get you their number if you would like to talk with them. Went to a wedding they did in June, pork tenderloin, pasta salad, fruit salad, hot rolls, a variety of veggie..........all very good food.

Let me talk with my daughters about other options for larger groups.

Rudy's does catering as does Fuddrucker's but then you need to choose a location....which could be Texas Ranger Hall of Fame, The Texas Sports Hall of Fame or Dr Pepper Museum! All fun places and different than your usual restaurant.

George's in Waco has their banquet hall acroos from their restaraunt. Good food also.
