I'm working on restoring my grandmother's piano. I'd like to keep all the original parts I can. some of the metal parts however are going to need some work.
On the inside there are a couple of iron U shaped spring (not sure if that's the right way to describe them). I'd say they are one inch wide, 1/4 inch thick and 8-10 inches long if they were straight. Threre are several pieces that probably would be best served if they were sand blasted, but I'm not sure where to go to have that done.
second are the pedals. They prob need to be blasted as well and then re plated.
i could probably survive with just using some rust away and steel wool on the iron pieces, but the pedals will be showing and i'd like to have those done professionally.
anyone know where to go to have that done?
thanks
