Hey asshat, "nice" means thanks for the info. I didn't know it would be that easy. Like I said, I had never done it before and didn't want to take the chance of screwing something up and putting my wife's or my own life at risk because I didn't change the breaks correctly. Excuse me for being cautious. After I saw your post, I did some research, asked a few professionals who were nice enough to give me proper instruction. I don't trust most things on google...especially when it could harm a family member if done incorrectly.
And for the record...

I'd be willing to pay for your time
Assuming it takes an hour to change the breaks and I paid $250 rather than the $480 that break check quoted me, someone could have had a good pay day and a few beers...
I ended up doing it for just under $125 total, so thanks again for the info.
And before you go there, yes, my wife's life is worth $480.00 and I would have paid it if I hadn't learned how and felt comfortable with doing them myself.
Thanks again!
