If you know any one who would like to teach 3rd grade (Tues/Thurs only) or algebra and pre-algebra (Tues/Thurs/Fri), please let me know! info@provprep.org Must be a committed Christian, life-long learner and hold a Bachelor's degree. Teaching experience necessary. A working knowledge of the classical approach is helpful but not required.

Algebra: What do the kids do on Mondays and Wednesdays?

Providence is a University-Model school that combines the best elements of traditional schooling with the best elements of home schooling. So students attend school on a university schedule--15-20 hrs per week at school with a professional educator and 15-20 hrs per week at home with a parent co-teacher. We aim to be the most rigorous school in the area.

Also forgot to add that teachers will need to have 90 minutes of office hours on Monday and Wednesday. They can be whatever hours you choose. Parent co-teachers need to know they can reach you by email or phone with any questions they have during those 90 minutes.

If you get really desperate, I could probably do the Friday Algebra / Pre-Algebra teaching. I work Monday-Thursday, so couldn't do the other days.

I teach Algebra 1, Pre-Algebra, and Chemistry right now in TN, but am moving to Cedar Park in June for a job with Travis County. My wife teaches English and Reading if you know
of any openings.

Templeton, heard anything about the part time positions?

We still have positions open in pre-Algebra, Algebra I, life science (7th grade), earth science (8th grade) and biology I (9th grade). We have probably filled our other positions, but if enrollment continues to increase we might add another lower school teacher.

I can do the Math/science, but only on Fridays. I work 4-10's right now. I'm certified in Math and Science.
