Yes it was. They have some serious talent over there, and the move to 2A might really wind up being good for them.

My hometown (and school) Wall.

Finishes in the top 10 just about every year.

Lorena finished #5 in 3A. Pretty impressive given their enrollment numbers.

Good year but there is still softball and baseball left. Maybe they can hang on.

UIL website says that final standings will not be announced until June 17th, however, I don't believe anyone can catch the Yoemen at this point, especially since the baseball team is still competing in the Regional finals tonight/this weekend.

Congratulations to all of the hard working students and staff on this remarkable achievement!

Girls Basketball - Regional Runner-Up

Baseball - playing in Regional Finals this weekend

And I'm sure I have missed something, but when there is that much success going on your are sure to leave someone out....definitely not intentional though!

Swept Weimer to advance to state (I'm still freaked out by these class 2A opponents. Who are these people? So used to Cameron being in 3A.)

Girls Golf - 2nd in State to the list!

and had a Power Lifter finish in the top 10 as well.
