Wife and I are building a house about 2 miles from our current one (out in the country). Going to move in the next month or so, and just don't have the time or energy (with three kids under the age of 4) to do it ourselves. Who are some good local movers? We used Graebel when we moved from Houston, but I would guess for a local move, we would use someone from Waco.

Christian Brothers moved my daughters to CS(one daughter and hubby were both in wheelchairs at the time)and they even set the rooms up, put furniture together.

I had lots of cold water for them here and there and bought them lunch...very nice men.

They also told us dressers didn't need to be emptied, they wrapped them completely in plastic wrap...heavier for them to handle but lots easier for us in the long run.

Christian Brothers were excellent. Thanks for the recommendations. Was very happy with them, and they were very nice. Can't say enough about them.
