Will be in town visiting the in laws... from houston and we have Aggie football viewing parties at local bars hosted by Houston Howdy Club.. was wondering if Temple has as any sort of thing like this

Not that I'm aware of. There's a wing place over by hobby lobby that's good. BJ's is the main sports bar/brew pub in town. It's also good. BJs is an Irish pub downtown with a bazillion beers in tap.

yea, i have been to that one.. you think they'll show the game at BJ's brewhouse or at the wing place?

Yeah, any of those places should have the game. I watched the cotton bowl at the wing place. Packed with Aggies. It is a small place, so get there early. BJs is a big place, but can get crowded. Obriens is pretty cool, but it is a smoking venue, and not sure if they're having music that night.

Obriens is my weekend hangout. Great Aggie owners, 50 tap beers, 250 bottled beers, and little to non rif raf. My kind of place.

If anyone on this thread is GOING to the game or know someone who is going to the game and has reservations at the AGGIELAND INN, tell them to make other plans as SOON as they can (if any other hotels in town have rooms) because the Aggieland Inn has closed and didnt tell anyone- not even employees!
