I'm outside of Groesbeck...Lake Limestone to be exact.

Have any of you used a stained concrete guy in/around Waco that would do work about 60 miles east of Waco?

I've heard that Tex Mex Cement & Concrete is good, but I don't have any personal experience with them. Anyone know?

I am a contractor who specializes in acid staining and scoring concrete in the Central Texas area. We are willing to travel and you are within our range.

We did the floor of the Alliance Bank in Waco (masterfully built by Mazanec Construction). The pic is a long load, but worth the wait. The color is Butterfield Color 'Kona Brown':

Give me a call and let's see if we are the right people for the job. 254-935-7613

Thanks,

Beautiful work in the picture. Word to wise though. We had carpet taken up and floor stained several years ago. Contractor never told us where carpet tacks were would not stain like rest of floor. Nail spots stained darker and looked like polka dots. He said it could not be fixed. Told him to pack up and leave. Looked like s---! Did pay him half of job . But we love stained concrete and next house built will have it!!

We take pride in the ability to make the tack strip holes disappear, most often by insuring that the patch compound for the job stains the the same color when sealed. A color that matches before sealing may not match at all when sealed. When the patches do not stain to match, we have other methods that blend them in with the unpatched normal floor.

LuvMarley, you can still improve the appearance of your tack strip holes. If you have a solvent based sealer already applied, the job is easy to do.

An interesting note about the bank lobby floor in the picture - we repaired damage to the stain which happened mid-construction. This may have been battery acid leaking from a scissor lift through the protective covering, but what ever the cause, it left about 4 sq ft of cream color in the sea of beautiful brown. We were finally able to match the color to the point the 'issue' disappeared.
