Was wondering if ya'll had any advice on what parts of town the majority of the college students live?

Also, Anyone who has textbooks they weren't able to sell to a bookstore let me know and I'll meet up with you and see if we might be able to purchase them.

Any advice would be helpful, Thanks!

I would think the biggest concentration of college students in Waco is the bailure area

Nope. But we did pay the students we saw in Waco ~$1000 cash for their old books that the local bookstore wouldn't buy back or couldn't buy back. Essentially $1000 for books they likely would have thrown away anyways. At the end of the semester we usually pay 10 times that amount to the students at multiple campuses (TAMU, Baylor, etc)

We usually pay more for the books than the local bookstore does anyways and can buy more books as well.

It's a pretty neat and helpful business to college students who get screwed over by the bookstores and the textbook industry already. They love us for it.

What do you do with the books after you buy them?

no not $1k per student.

Overall, most of the books were too out of date and since it was middle of the semester we couldn't buy too many that we hadn't bought last time we were in town. Also, Baylor has many books that are Baylor-Specific textbooks that we weren't able to buy. Probably could've visited more students on saturday but we were having some major equipment malfunctions and had to do a lot of pricing manually which takes forever.

We spend a heckuva lot more at the end of the semesters.

We have agreements with some companies to sell the books back to, but we have some plans for strategic growth where we could do some pretty neat things for students and student organizations (Frats, FLOs, Leadership groups, etc) to help save them tons of money down the road.

All good stuff and are (and will be) very valuable to students going forward.
