Just went and watched a movie at Grand Avenue Theater http://www.grandavenuetheater.com and it was great, awesome facility! They have more food selection than just popcorn and candy (pizza, shakes, ice cream, jalapeno poppers, etc.). The seats are very comfy with extended foot room and the screens and sound are top notch. All around a great experience. We drove from Woodway and it was worth the drive. I'm sure we'll return to catch another movie soon.

I have heard good things about the place from several people

We had a good experience last week there. Decent food, small theater, clean.

Only two complaints. While the seats may be comfty they're leather and squeak a lot. Second was that I had to see "the Lucky One" there. I don't blame the theatre for that though.

Sorry you had to go through that C-jags. Every man with a wife or gf can sympathize with you.

well since i have a solid summer lineup consisting of Avengers, Dark Knight Rises, and Prometheous lined up, you have to give a little in the movie department to get a little.

we went there Saturday to get info about their captioning services...supposedly when requested a guest will be given a box device that supports captioning, a little mini screen with the words....not sure how that is going to work if you hold it/trying to read captions/trying to see movie on movie screen but we are willing to try it out...WHEN IT IS WORKING! They asked for my email and will let me know when they get the kinks fixed. Belton and especially if we take 317 or Nugent off 35 is not too far away for something different that I can participate in with the kids.

Sounds neat Mom, hopefully they'll get tht working soon. I saw Avengers, it was good minus the short Power Rangersesque scene.

Saw someone with the text box thing the other day in the woodlands.

Black screen with green text, not distracting for me and I was sitting behind them.

The just held it up so they could see it and the screen at the same time.

I thought it was pretty cool

got the email today that it is running in all their theaters...only drawback is if the movie sent to them isn't captioned
